Having a previous background in putting together venues from previous projects, I started my curating career purely by accident, married to artist Gregory Hergert, we located studio space in downtown Portland, OR that had a Gallery space attached, shortly after we moved into the studio, I was given the opportunity to help curate Greg’s first show, I fell in love with this instantly and assisted in shows off and on for a few years, eventually I accepted the role as curator at Brassworks Gallery located in downtown Portland.  I have organized numerous galleries shows, I really enjoy working with artist of many different art styles from Urban Surrealism to Abstract Expressionism to Graffiti and Sticker shows, as well as Art Installation Shows.  These shows are regional, national and international and or a combination of all three.  I am fortunate enough to work with some of today’s hottest artists to up and coming rising stars. I have recently started working on assisting artists in publishing their “Art Books”.  When not at the gallery, I can be found at my other Job as the NW Area Manager for a national mortgage company, where I work in marketing and business development. I spend my Sunday’s with my husband donating our time to Portland’s homeless, where we visit the camps and distribute meals, pet food, meals, tents, tarps and other supplies.
